Today we took the Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo bike up to the Hoo Koo E Koo Rd at Mount Tam. It was an epic reunion of mountain bike heritage.
I believe that too few people appreciate the debt of gratitude that we all owe those MTB pioneers of the Marin hills. It was a good day to inaugurate my brother in law, who, bless his Southern California heart, has never known the joy of trial riding. In my mind justice was served by giving him the hardtail with the bald skinny rear tire.
